Sixty members of the Eastern Ohio Development Alliance (EODA) met at Muskingum University on St. Patrick’s Day to discuss workforce in the region. Six panelists from various employers in the region made presentations and answered questions from the attendees. Panelists included, Jolinda Kistler, Human Resources Manager for McWane Ductile; Matt Colvin, Superintendent of the Coshocton Career Center; Mike Hovan, President of Lauren International; Bob Alsept, Superintendent of the Buckeye Career Center; Tasha Werry, Executive Director of Building Bridges to Careers; and Bret Allphin, Senior Program Manager of the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO) and a Marietta City Councilman. Panelists offered insight into current and developing trends of workforce in the region. EODA Executive Director, Jim Schoch, shared the annual meeting will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at the Carlisle Village Inn in Walnut Creek, Oh. EODA Excellence Awards will be presented at the annual meeting to recognize excellence in Small and Emerging Business, Manufacturing and Large Business, Tourism, and Technology in the sixteen-county region.
