The Eastern Ohio Development Alliance hosted its 33rd Annual Meeting on Friday, April 28th at the Carlisle Inn in Walnut Creek, OH. Over 125 members and guests were in attendance.
Mike Jacoby, President of Ohio Southeast Economic Development (OhioSE) provided an update on activities, including business investments, jobs, and labor force . He shared the advantages of operating a business in the region. OhioSE is the JobsOhio Network Partner for southern, eastern and southeastern Ohio, providing economic development work and resources to 25 rural counties. Cara Dingus Brook, CEO and President of the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio (FAO) also addressed the attendees and shared good news from the foundation. FAO is a regional foundation with a mission to create opportunities in Appalachian Ohio by supporting and inspiring philanthropy.
