The adoption of social media tools continues to increase. Social media usage now constitutes greater than 11% of all Internet traffic. Couple this with the exploding use of mobile devices (iPhone's, iPad's, PDA's) and it is clear that social media has become a very powerful means of communication. The challenge is how to use these tools effectively for economic development.
